In Memory Of
Dennis McCulloch
1988 - 2016

Dennis Andrew McCulloch “Wello”, 28, left this world and went to his eternal home on July 14, 2016. Dennis was born on January 21, 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dennis was an avid snowboarder and couldn’t wait for winter to arrive so he could be on the mountain every chance he got.

Dennis was a thrill seeker and was not afraid of anything. He had a tremendous need for speed. The faster he could go the happier he was. Dennis loved his music. You could hear the music and know that it was him coming down the street even before you could see him.

Dennis and Kylie brought into this world a beautiful son, Emmett. Dennis’ true love of his life was Emmett. He was the greatest dad anyone could have asked for and whatever the little man wanted Dennis provided it. He loved lying on the floor playing cars and trucks with him for hours.

Dennis was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis McCulloch, who Dennis was named after. He is also preceded in death by his infant brother Tommy and infant sister Taryn.

Dennis is survived by his son Emmett and Emmett’s mother, Kylie, his mother Alaura Denelle McCulloch-Garriott (Wes), his dad Sander Smith; his brother and best friend Cody Shane Smith (Jennifer); his grandmother Annette McCulloch, his grandfather Elmer Smith, Sr.; grandmother, JoAnn Robnett; his siblings: Daniel Smith, Amanda Smith McDonald (Cliff), Jesi-Lea Smith. Surviving him also are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of great friends and co-workers.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 4pm at Crossroads Park, 1101 North Poplar Street under the Big Pavillion. Please provide your own chairs if you wish to sit and wear bright colors for Dennis. After the memorial service there will be a party/barbeque at Scott Ehrler’s house located at 7785 Forum in Evansville (Cole Creek). Bring your food, drink and chairs.
