June was a secretary for Adams County School District 12 until she retired in the late 80’s. She and Bob moved to Grand Junction CO to enjoy their retirement years. They volunteered at the visitor center and enjoyed meeting new people. They were members of the Kickers Club while living in Denver due to their love for polka. They enjoyed traveling in their younger years and were able to go to Europe twice. She was an active member in Northglenn United Church and Messiah Lutheran Church GJ.
June is survived by three children Barbara Burch-Jones of Buffalo WY Robert W. Burch Jr (Julie) of Pagosa Springs CO and Marguerite “Maggie” Hall (Don) of Casper WY. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jason Sanger (Ashley) , Joshua Sanger (Dusti) of Fort Collins CO and Stephen Burch-Jones (Laci) of Buffalo WY. She is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and their children, multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to your local humane society.
There will be a service on September 16, 2016 at 2:15 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver CO where she will be reunited with her husband. A Celebration of June's Life will be held immediately following services at The Hampton Inn at Hampden and Wadsworth.
