Barbara Jean Lappi, age 84, of Casper, passed away October 11, 2016 at Poplar Living Center. Barbara was born August 11, 1932 in Soudan, Minnesota to Reuben and Ethel (Larson) Anderson. She attended and graduated from Tower Soudan High School. She was a former member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Babbit, MN. Barb volunteered at community functions, was a Brownie Scout leader in and was active in Al-Anon in Butte, MT. She enjoyed treasure hunting at rummage sales, baking cookies and breads and was an avid reader; mystery and romance novels being her favorite.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband Ron and cousin Joyce Pauletti. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Lappi, Dale Lappi, Connie Lappi, Christine Lappi, Tom Lappi and Karen (Rod Bisbee) Lappi, brothers, Paul (Julie) and Doug (Cathy)Anderson, sister Maxine (Merlin) Solberg, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Per Barb's wishes no services will be held. A private service will be held in Tower, Minnesota at a later date.
