Valera “Val” Dusel, age 93, of Casper, passed away October 22, 2016 at her home in Casper, Wyoming surrounded by her sons. Valera was born September 16, 1923 in Hecla, South Dakota to Jacob and Gesine (Stolle) Frohling. During her time in Casper she was employed at Hilltop Insurance Agency for many years. Valera was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1958, and enjoyed quilting as part of her activities in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She loved to play cards and especially enjoyed her bridge club.
In addition to her parents, Valera was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Anton “Tony” Dusel. She is survived by her sons, Gary Dusel, Dennis (Rosie) Dusel, Terry (Karen) Dusel, Dean Dusel, and 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 28 at 2:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at a later date at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, WY.
