Jerry Wayne McKenna, 68, of Casper, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

He was born December 6, 1948 in Buffalo, Wyoming. He graduated in 1967 from Midwest High School.

After a semester of college, he realized he enjoyed working with his hands and begun to work in the oilfield around Midwest, Wyoming. Jerry spent most of his life working in the Midwest area until he semi-retired to take care of his mother until her passing. He continued to reside in Casper until his death.

Jerry enjoyed hobbies of music, art, making wine, and being a martial arts instructor. He obtained a second degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do while inspiring others to enjoy the martial arts.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn H. and Mildred H. McKenna both of Casper, Wyoming. He leaves behind three brothers, John H. McKenna, G. Fred McKenna, and George M. McKenna; as well as a large number of family and friends.

The viewing and services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home. The viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2017, a funeral service will follow that day at 1:00PM at the funeral home chapel. A reception will be held immediately after the service at Chatters Bar & Grill, located at 1324 Prairie Lane, Bar Nunn, Wyoming. His cremated remains will be interred at a later date.
