Jack was born on Feb. 15th, 1936 in Casper Wyoming, to Earl and Iantha Rowland. He graduated in the class of 1954, from Natrona County High School, where he medalled in diving. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, BeBeJo Wilson on January 15th, 1954. They soon after welcomed 4 children. Jack was an active member of the Air National Guard. He spent most of his life as a heavy equipment mechanic and eventually retired from the NCSD bus garage in 1996.
Jack was an amazing motorcyclist and raced most of his life. He instilled this passion in his family. He took his last laps around the track with his sons at 80 years old. He was the Golden Gloves Boxing Champion of Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana in 1952. He climbed Devil's Tower in 1958. Jack was a talented woodworker, an avid golfer and a "Jack" of all trades. Most of all, he was a loving husband, and a devoted father.
Jack is survived by his best friend and wife of 63 years, BeBeJo. His children Dan (Julie) Rowland, Larry Rowland Sr., Patrick (Michael) Rowland, Susan (Joel) Brackett, 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, three brothers; Howard, Bill (Cora), and George, along with many Uncles, aunts, cousins, neices, nephews and many great friends.
Jack is preceeded in death by his mother, father, two brothers; Clarence and Charlie, a sister; Jeanette, and a daughter in law; Cindy.
