Molly J. Smith died May 8, 2017 at Central Wyoming Hospice. She was born October 10, 1930 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Cornell and Helen Heidinger. She attended schools in Tulsa and Laramie, WY.

On December 18, 1948, she married Marlin W. Smith. They were the parents of four children.

She worked for the Wyoming School for the Deaf until her retirement. She attended Highland Park Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Molly George of Casper, three sons Steve and wife of Casper, Michael of Casper, and Shane and wife of Albuquerque, NM, one sister Betty Whitlock of Tulsa, OK, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and step-parents.

Private family services for Molly J. Smith will be held in Laramie at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a memorial to Shriner’s Hospital of Cripple Children, Intermountain Unit, Fairfax and Virginia Ave., Salt Lake City, UT or to the Casper Humane Society, 849 East E, Casper. WY.
