We lost a wonderful man on May 4th 2017. Scott Nelsen of Casper, Wyoming became a twinkling, laughing star who watches over each and every one of us.

Scott was born January 18th 1957 in Boulder, Colorado. The youngest of three, he was the imp of the group. Scott went on to pursue a life in fitness working at several fitness clubs and owning his own health club at one point. Scott was well known for his “World Class Spinning Classes” from Colorado to Arizona, California and here in Casper, Wyoming at Lifetime Fitness.

Whatever Scott did he did it with passion, finesse, perfection and for the love of the recipient, whether it was at work, for his love of cooking where he regularly made trays of enchiladas so he could deliver them to his neighbors or tending to his beautiful flowers, feeding a bird from his hand, teaching a spin class or interacting with another person. Always done with kindness, love and generosity. The words "he will be sorely missed” are completely inadequate.

Scott is survived by his two wonderful sons, Brennan (Catherine) Nelsen of Puyallup, Washington and Derek Nelsen of Winter Park, Colorado. He treasured his sons with an un-bounding love.

He is also survived by his brother Gary (Janis) Nelsen of Oklahoma City Oklahoma and sister Jan (Jeff) Einardt of Phoenix Arizona. Scott's ashes will be spread in Vedauwoo Wyoming near the ashes of his loving parents Roy and June Nelsen.
