Marie Moorhouse passed away May 16, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley at the age of 95.
Born July 4, 1921 in Crowrock, MT to Clarence (Jack) and Viola Long. Marie was a graduate of the class of 1939 from Bozeman, MT.
On November 21, 1954 she married Keith Moorhouse, of Cheyenne, WY, in Kalispell, Mt. Keith and Marie loved Casper, Wy where they moved to and continued to make their home and raise their family.
Marie worked in the retail industry and for City of Casper. Marie truly loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, gardening, and hunting which she shared with Keith and friends. Marie also had lots of love and pride for her family and extended family.
Marie had three children who have all preceded her in death, James Emerson, Kyla Reed and Tana Jennings. Marie also is preceded in death by her husband, Keith, parents, brothers: Adam (Ted) Heib, Pat Wright, Mike Wright, Jackie Coppin, Warren Long, Clifford Spracklin, and sister Mable Welch.
She is survived by step daughters Bonnie Rader, Colorado and Connie Osborn, Washington, several grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids. She is also survived by her sister Marcella (John) Burton, New Mexico and several lifelong friends.
Marie will be laid to rest joining Keith and her children at a later date at Highland Cemetery.
