Mitch Alan Cashel, age 61, of Casper, passed away May 19, 2017. Mitch was born November 28, 1955 in Midwest to Glenn and Dolores (Hux) Cashel. Mitch won the State finals in his division in wrestling while attending Midwest High School. He later attended NCHS. Mitch enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed baseball, working on cars and hanging out with his friends and talking with them for hours. Mitch was a loving father and he loved his grandchildren very much. He even enjoyed spoiling them at times.
Mitch was preceded in death by his parents . He is survived by his son Travis Cashel, daughter, Aubrey (Tim) Moon, sister, Debra Lynn Cashel, grandson, Hayden Moon and granddaughter, Haylie Moon, fiance Sheri Vigil, along with several cousins and many close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
