In Memory Of
Mary Lou Sandusky
1952 - 2017

Mary Sandusky, age 65, of Casper, Wyoming passed away June 12, 2017. She was born in Duncan, Oklahoma to Joe and Evelyn Crews. The family moved to Casper when she and her sisters were young and she subsequently graduated from KWHS in 1970. After graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Army, and while stationed in New Mexico met her husband Drew. They married in 1975 and made a home in New Jersey until moving to Casper in 1982.

Mary was a lifelong nurturer who worked as a teacher’s assistant for NCSD for over 20 years. She also spent summers working for the City of Casper on the ball field crew and later on a gardening crew. She loved to read and garden but spent most of her post retirement time watching her grandkids in all their activities. Summers were made for baseball and the ballpark was where you could find her most nights. When she wasn't with her grand babies she loved spending time with her four sisters and honorary sister, Pam, more often than not gambling in Riverton or Deadwood.

Mary is survived by her husband Drew and two children: Lea Christensen (Brett Christensen) of Casper, Wyoming and Craig Sandusky of Minot, North Dakota. She is also survived by her mother Evelyn Crews, four sisters: Carolyn Brown, Jan Galusha, her twin Eva Robbins, and Judy Martens (Ed Martens), two grandchildren Holden and Chase, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Joe Crews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Natrona County Meals on Wheels.
