Imogene "Jo" Sutphin, age 86, of Casper, passed away July 1, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. Imogene was born October 3, 1930 in Burwell, Nebraska to Ivan and Mary (Sharp) Harris. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1949. Imogene met the love of her life, James Sutphin, during High School and together they got married on September 15, 1949. She was one of the first two ladies in Casper to enlist in the United States Air Force. For the majority of her life, Imogene spent her time at home caring for her family as a homemaker. She liked to spend her time reading and crafting. Imogene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her parents, Imogene was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, James "Jim" Sutphin, Son, Wade Sutphin, Daughter, RLea Gerhart, Grandson, Roy Sutphin, and brother, Raymond Harris. She is survived by her son, Keven (Carla) Sutphin, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
