Judith Carol Jones, 69, of Casper WY, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2017. She passed away after a short but hard fought battle with cancer.
Judy was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on November 26th, 1947. She was the second child born to Marion and John Laurent and had two brothers and three sisters. Her older brother Jody passed away a couple years ago and a younger sister, Joan, passed away many years ago. Her surviving and immediate family members include younger brother Jimmy, sisters Karen and Linda - all of Saskatchewan. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Dick Jones, in the spring of this year. Dick and Judy had been married since 1991.
Judy spent most of her career working with the public as a small business owner and later in life in the banking and investment industries. She always had a quick wit and was capable of learning about anything in a very short period of time. She was a very intelligent woman who didn’t know the meaning of not doing and giving her best at all times. She loved people and loved working with the public.
Judy was the proud mother of Danny Sparling of Cedar Bluff, VA and Jackie Smith of Casper. She was equally, if not more proud, of her grandchildren Conor and Aidan Sparling, and Abby Smith. She also had a special love for her daughter in law, Anna Sparling.
Judy didn’t want a public viewing or funeral. She wanted that love, time and effort put into something she truly loved - animals. In lieu of flowers, cards and other sentimental thoughts, Judy asked friends and family to donate in her and her dog’s name (Kinzie) to the Casper Humane Society.
