Amanda “Honey” Louise Leforte passed away October 23rd, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming.

She was born to the late Clyde and Abby Wallace on April 6th, 1928 in Woodland, Pennsylvania. She was married to the late Samuel C. Leforte, and resided most of her life in Shiloh, Pennsylvania until moving to Casper in 2010.

Honey worked in the coal mines and on surrounding farms in her younger years, then became a housewife. She extremely loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed painting and sewing.

Honey is survived by her only son, Stephen C. Leforte of Casper, Wyoming, and a brother, Calvin Wallace of Shiloh, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by nine step-grandchildren and numerous step-great, and step-great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Dorothy and Jessie; one granddaughter, Rose; one great-granddaughter, Billie Jo; and one great-grandson, Issac.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Beech St., Casper, Wyoming.
