Frank Howard "Woody" Wood, age 78, of Douglas, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. Frank was born June 3, 1939 in Honolulu, HI to Joseph and Geraldine (Overman) Wood. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 10 years. Frank was an automotive mechanic and owned his own business.
In addition to his parents, Frank was also preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Langone and 2 grandchildren. Left to cherish Frank's memory is his loving wife of 60 years Patricia, Sons, Bart Wood of Battle Mountain, NV and Rex Wood of Douglas, WY along with 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Military Honors will be rendered unto Frank on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, WY.
Memorial Contributions in Frank's memory may be made to a Veterans charity of the donor's choice or to Frontier Home Health & Hospice.
