1952 - 2017

James "Jimbo" Raymond Higgins, age 64, of Casper, passed away November 26, 2017 at his home. Jimbo was born November 28, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joseph Frank and Rosemary (Koerschner) Higgins. He attended Woods School for Special Needs in Casper, Wyoming. He was honored to have the ability to walk on crutches when he was younger. For the majority of his life, he lived at NOWCAP where he enjoyed spending time with his friends, residents, and workers. He worked hard at doing what he could. He touched a lot of people's lives and brightened up their days. He was very sweet and caring to others. He enjoyed country music, coffee, ice cream, going to church and attending the movies. His favorite movie was The Three Stooges. He was a fun and positive person. Jimbo lived life to the fullest and was very thankful for everyday.
He will be missed a lot. He has been a beautiful person to have in a family. He has taught us all many wonderful qualities and many gifts.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his birth father, Joseph Frank, his father, Larry Higgins, and his mother, Rosemary Higgins. He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Fran) Higgins, brother, John Higgins, sister, Mary (John) Murphy, sister, Ann Higgins, sister, Margaret Higgins, brother, Larry Higgins, brother, Andrew (Michelle) Higgins, Sister, Amy Higgins, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. A committal service will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming.

Memorials in his name may be made to NOWCAP Activity Fund for the residents, 345 N Walsh Dr, Casper, WY 82609.
