In Memory Of
Terry Edward Connolly
1954 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Connolly announces his passing. Terry gave a good fight, fighting 7 years of Leukemia and Lymphoma. Terry lost the battle on December 13, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Terry will be sharing his heavenly birthday on his daughter Crystal’s earthly birthday. Terry was born to Harry and Angeline (Smisek) Connolly on June 05, 1954 in Eden Prairie, MN. The family later moved to Corvallis, MT where Terry graduated from Corvallis High School in 1972. Terry was the athlete of the family coming in 2nd at State Wrestling twice in high school.

Terry loved to play basketball. Terry’s brother, Mike, shared a story how the players of the football team would pass Terry the football and he would run down the field because no one could catch him. Terry had nine siblings, Mike (Lee) Connolly, Judy (Scott) Anderson, Dennis (Jenn) Connolly, Patricia (Philip) Humphrey, Kenny (Lori) Connolly, Jeff (Patty) Connolly, Sue (Steve) Wiegel, Eileen Thompson and Peggy (Paul) Marsh. Terry served in the Navy starting in 1974 for a four year term and then the National Guard.

Terry moved to Casper in 1980 where he met the love of his life, Donna (Morrison) Connolly. Donna’s boss, Diane, at Thrifty Scott Motel, set Terry and Donna up on a date and they had been together every since that first date. Terry and Donna were married for 35 years. Terry and Donna loved to spend time together camping, fishing and four-wheeling in the Big Horns. Donna shared a story how Terry had to chase off a small black bear from their camp. The black bear ate their ham. Donna also shared a story of Terry trying to teach his grandson how to fish and got the bobber caught. Terry didn’t want to lose his bobber so he went out to fetch the bobber and ended up slipping in the water, landing on the bobber and breaking it. Terry loved all children. Terry also taught the children how to climb stairs, blow out candles on their birthdays and countless other fun and exciting things. Terry also loved to play card games his whole life.

Terry was a very hard worker and always provided for his family. Terry worked for Northern Gas, JW Williams, Halliburton, small appliance companies in Worland and Big Piney Wyoming and then Brake Supply until his death.

Terry will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife, Donna, and his children, Christy, Brad, Katrena (Ty), Crystal (Andrew), Adam (Brittany). Terry will also be fondly remembered by his fourteen grandchildren, Kalob, Isaiah, Isaac, Nevaeh, Jordan, Brad Jr.,Todd, Jason, Tayler, Bailey, Jade, Ethan, Kalub, Aubreyanna, one great grandchild Kingston, by all of his siblings and by his mother-in-law Frankie Morrison, sister-in-laws Marvene (Jeff) Alexander, Edna Annis, Sandy (Jim) Daniels, Rolinda (Richard) Mackler, brother-in-law Edward (Carry) Bruckner, and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Angeline, father-in-law, Marvin Morrison, and brother-in-law, Rollie Norris.

Terry is going to be sadly missed by all who love him. We are all going to miss his companionship, his jokes and his ornery sense of humor. A celebration in memory of the life of this wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and brother will be held on December 19, 2017 at 6:00pm at the V.F.W. Post 9439, 1800 Bryan Stock Trail in Casper, Wyoming.
