Lois passed away on December 22nd. Lois was born in Casper, Wyoming on March 21st, 1928 to William & Tina Humphreys. She attended Willard Grade School and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1945.

Lois married the love of her life, Frank James Fisher on August 20th, 1946 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. They remained wed for 71 years and were blessed with 5 children. She faithfully cared for her children and was a loving wife. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Pacific Fruit and Produce for 18 years and Paradise Valley Country Club for 6 years. Lois was then a receptionist at Casper Medical Clinic for 5 years. She also worked part time for the Natrona County School District and developed lifelong friendships with many of her co-workers along the way.

Lois relished being with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and dancing. She was also very artistic and liked to paint and create greeting cards out of hand pressed flowers, which she sold at local Wyoming businesses. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling in the 5th wheel with her husband Buck. Shopping was one of her passions, she would beam with excitement explaining what great deals she found.

Lois had been a member of Evansville Good Neighbors Club, Casper Water Ski Club, Whirlwinds Good Sam Club as well as St. Patrick’s volunteer program. She was a dedicated Catholic, attending church regularly and instilling that faith into her family. She cherished her friendships and was loyal and thoughtful, always looking to help out a friend in need. She will be remembered for her cheery voice, tender heart and gentle manner.

Lois is survived by five children, Mary Ann (Joe) Tremel, Dan (Dana) Fisher, Kathy (Jerry) Stoneking, Barb (Eric) Olson and Tom Fisher. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
