V. Dale Bowman, age 91, of Casper, passed away February 16, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Casper. Dale was born September 7, 1926 in Crosby, MN to Neal and Violet (Robinson) Bowman. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was employed with the Danube Mines for more than 30 years before retiring in 1974 and moved to the beautiful state of Wyoming. Dale was a member of the VFW Post 10677 and served as Secretary, Treasurer and Past President. In his free time Dale enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and making stained glass pieces to give to his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Mildred Bowman, son Dennis Bowman, grandson Ryan Bowman, brothers; Gary and Lewie Bowman and sister Norma Thiel . Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ann (Terry) Roylance, son, Neal (Leona) Bowman, daughter-in-law Gail Bowman, grandchildren; Angela Bowman, Gary Bowman, Eric Bowman and Travis Roylance, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service with Military Funeral Honors will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice in Dale's memory.
