Frances Evelyn Cook Went home to the Lord February 18, 2018. She was born in Grass Creek, Wyoming on July 6, 1930 to Matthew B. Van Petten, Sr. and Helen R. (Sayles) Van Petten.

After the death of her father in 1934 the family moved to Thermopolis where she graduated from Hot Springs County High School.
Frances moved to Casper, Wyoming where she met and married the love of her life, Victor "Bus" Cook. They were married on November 15, 1953.
They had two sons, Robert M. Cook and Ronald E. Cook of Casper, WY. Frances retired from Engine Services Inc. in 1982 after 12 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers Matt and Edward Van Petten and her sister Helen Drazick.

She is survived by her sons, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by all who loved her!

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 4100 Casper Mountain Road, Casper, WY with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery in Casper.
