Catharine JoAnn Kegler, 76, passed away February 23, 2018, after she lost her battle with Alzheimer's

She was born to the late John J. and Virginia (Morris) McDermott on March 13, 1942 in Hazel Green, WI. She married John Joseph Kegler on October 14, 1958. They lived together in Dubuque, Iowa before relocating to Casper, WY in June of 1970.

JoAnn had worked for John Kegler Construction for many years as the Office Manager. She loved horses, reading, going to garage sales, painting rocks and loved the Jerry Springer Show.

JoAnn is survived by five children, Tina Walrack, Suzi Kegler, Connie Campbell, Dennis Kegler and Rita Hanno: along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

JoAnn is also survived by siblings, Jack McDermott, of Dubuque, IA, Dan (Carol) McDermott of Cuba City, WI, Rose (Paul) Rupp of Dubuque, IA, Pat (Lyle) Ott of Dubuque, IA, Jim (Shirley) McDermott of Dubuque, IA, Sue (Dwayne) Murphy of Dubuque, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, mother, her husband, John Kegler, her son, Edward, her sister, Dorothy (Manuel) Echeagaray of San Lorenzo, CA, infant brother, William McDermott, sister-in-law Delores McDermott, nephews, Dan Rupp and David McDermott, Dubuque, IA and niece Cory McDermott, Cuba City, WI.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, 319 S. Wilson St. Casper, WY 82601
