Ted H. Kapeles, 81, of Casper, died peacefully on March 13, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice after fighting Lymphoma for five and one-half years. He was born in Casper, Wyoming on April 21, 1936 to the late Harry and Mary Kapeles. Ted graduated from Natrona County High School in 1954 and attended Casper College. He married Carol Ann Haigler on July 22, 1961 and they had five children. Ted retired as a Drilling Fluids Engineer after spending many years in the oil and gas industry.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his brother, John H. Kapeles.

He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Carol Ann Kapeles, Son, John A. (Lori ) Kapeles, Daughter, Cathy (Tim) Brorson, Son, Mike (Sandy) Kapeles, Son, Bill (Tara) Kapeles, Son, Greg (Stephanie) Kapeles; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Christine (Nick) Tsiouvaras, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1401 CY Avenue, Casper with an interment to follow at Highland Cemetery. The church will host a reception meal for family and friends after the services.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Wyoming Hospice.
