George Mitsuo Azama, 80, of Casper, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. George was born to the late Matsu Azama and Kiyabu Matsuye on March 26, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii. George graduated high school from Farrington High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He immediately enlisted in the United State Marine Corps after high school. He married Judy Rae Arnold in 1971, before relocating to Casper in 1980. George worked in the hospitality industry before starting his own yard maintenance business. He had a great love for animals. He helped to raise nine dogs, two cats, and one parakeet.
He is survived by his Wife, Judy Arnold Azama, of Casper.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Casper Humane Society in George's memory.
