William Terrance McCann (Terry)
William Terrance McCann (Terry) 59, of Thermopolis, WY passed away surrounded by family on Friday March 30th 2018 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY.
He was born to the late William L. McCann and Shirley K. Varilek (Gardner) on December 4th 1958 in Hot Springs, SD. Terry grew up in Thermopolis, WY with his mother Shirley Gardner and Step father John Gardner and his four siblings. Growing up Terry was active in the Special Olympics. He graduated from Hot Springs County High School in Thermopolis, WY in 1976.
Terry was adored by his community and had many friends. Terry always had a smile to share with everyone and a great outlook on life. Terry was always very kind and had a heart of gold and was very close to his family. He was especially close to his brother (best friend) and long time roommate Calvin. He had a special bond with all of his many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed coffee with friends, watching movies, and playing video games.
Terry is survived by his siblings brother Calvin McCann, sisters Pamela K. Snyder (Greg Scott), Mireille L. Nitchman (Ray Nitchman), Jodie L. Nading (Kenneth Nading) step father John W. Gardner Jr, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terry was preceded in death by his biological father William L. McCann and his mother Shirley K. Gardner.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery in Thermopolis.
