Robert E. "Bob" Wilson
1940 - 2018

Robert "Bob" E. Wilson, 77, died May 12, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 27, 1940 in the family home to William Emmett and Doris (Eaton) Wilson and grew up on the family ranch south of Melstone, MT. After graduating from high school he worked for his father on the family ranch and for various neighbors in the area.

He was a jack of all trades, most notable were his main source of income over the years. He went to school to become a farrier, barber and boot maker. He was also a welder and over the years was able to make the most of the trade by fabricating things for boot making tools for other handyman jobs.

He finished out his careers in Bob's Clipper Coop Barber Shop in Casper, WY where he was in business for 28 years. Many people knew him and he was famous for his flattops and military haircuts. His barber shop legacy will move on with the new owner and she will keep the name and location also putting her own spin on the place by brining in beauty expertise as well.

In the spring of 1972 he was baptized and became a Christian committed to obeying and honoring God for the remainder of his life.

On March 2, 1975 he married Melissa Anne Annis and in the following years had 3 children, Nathan, Amanda and Curtis.

Bob was quick to try almost anything. His extracurricular activities included playing the guitar alone, with his children and encouraging his children to play musical instruments of any kind. Hunting, reloading ammunition, camping and going on small drives through the countryside. Riding and breaking horses in his younger years. Making different kinds of wine. He would use his welding experience to make different furniture with horseshoes and a short period of time making wood burning stoves.
