Carol Jean Morvee, age 85, of Douglas Wyoming passed away on May 24, 2018, at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County.

Carol was born on August 17, 1932 on the farm in Brown County, South Dakota, to parents George A. and Bertha M. Amsden. Carol was raised and educated in and around Aberdeen, South Dakota.

On January 12, 1952 she married Eugene L. Morvee in a wedding ceremony at the United Methodist Church in Douglas, WY. To this union were born, Nanette, Wiliiam, Janette and Hal.

Carol spent most of her career working in the banking profession in Douglas, WY.

Carol enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and all the activities that she could share with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a Fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star and other Masonic related organizations. She was a Fifty plus year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of Rebekahs, and an active member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her Sisters Georgia Ann Riehle (Wayne) of Douglas, WY, Gayle Carmine of Omaha, NE, Evelyn Dutt of Tolstoy, South Dakota and her Brother Jackie Amsden (Scotty) of Casper, WY, Children; Nanette M. James (Michael), William W. Morvee (Janeen), Janette L. Jepson (Brian) of Douglas, WY and Hal E. Morvee of Englewood, CO; Grandchildren, Shelly Lopez (Roberto), Chris and Craig Jepson of Douglas, Erin James (Dustin Eubanks) of Lone Star, TX, Cooper Jepson (Krista) and LaReesa Morvee of Aurora, CO, and Samantha Morvee of Englewood, CO and 8 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Eugene L Morvee, her Sister Lois Larson, and her Mother and Father, Bertha and George Amsden.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on June 9th, Saturday, 2PM at the Douglas Congregational Church with David Dick presiding. A coffee will follow after the celebration in the fellowship hall of the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Douglas Senior Citizen Center, 340 W 1st St, Douglas, WY 82633.
