Dennis W. Bowman, 65 of Casper, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. He was born in Grand Rapids, MN to Mildred and Dale Bowman. He attended Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN and graduated in 1968. Dennis then married his high school sweetheart in 1969 and together they had two children. He attended basic training in 1968 and then served six years in the US Army National Guard as a Tank Commander.

Dennis started his career working for US Steel in Minnesota and began an electrical apprenticeship that allowed him to become a Master Electrician. He moved to Wyoming in 1978, and the family settled in Casper where Dennis retired from Bridger Coal Company. He enjoyed fishing, coaching his boys in hockey, hunting and most of all his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Bowman; sons, Gary (Jamie) Bowman and Eric (Krystal) Bowman; grandchildren, Daiya, Laken, and Eli Bowman; father, Dale Bowman; sister, Ann (Terry) Roylance; brother, Neal (Leona) Bowman; and also numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Bowman.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 23, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, 302 East 2nd Street, Casper.
