1921 - 2016

Norma N. Corrigan, 94 of Casper formerly of Gillette, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was born in Gering, NE to Raymond and Nan Neeley. Norma found her passion for music early becoming an accomplished musician. After graduating from Hastings College in Nebraska, she taught music at all levels in Nebraska and Wyoming. She married Ted in 1946. They raised 3 children living in Cody, Medicine Bow, Lovell and finally Gillette. Norma was an active member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church especially with their music ministry. She started the Senior Singers at teh Gillette Senior Center and cherished her years with them. Norma loved people and always had a smile for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ted; her parents; and 2 sisters. Norma is survived by her daughters, Robbie Benson and Teresa (Michael Landram) Corrigan; son, Bill Corrigan; 3 grandchildren, Derrick Benson, Lori (Terry) Jackson, and Rory Wagner; 4 great grandchildren, Shante, Aubrianna, Terry Jr., and Alexis Jackson; and 2 great great grandchildren, Nailah and Lillianna.

A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2016, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Inurnment to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gillette College Foundation for a music memorial fund in Norma's name.
