Barry was born to Betty Williams and Lawrence McKinney in New York, New York on December 28, 1948 and went to be with his parents on December 12, 2014. After graduating High School, Barry joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1970. Barry grew up in Semi Valley, California later moving to San Diego where he met the love of his life Rose Randall; even though Barry had no children of his own he became an instant father to six children with Rose. Barry worked for the San Diego Port of Entry for several years and later became a salesman until his disability. Barry loved sports and was an avid Bronco fan.

Barry is survived by his loving wife, Rose; four sisters, Elaine (Dan) of California, Libby of California, Jackie of California, and Kitty of Florida; six children, Arthur, Paula (Adam) Duran, Jessica all of Casper, Marty of Utah, Hector (Tammie), and Sean (Buffy) of Omaha; his grandson, Tre (Catherine) Gomez, whom Barry has raised since his birth; He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and his best friend and son, Tommy Hallock; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Jack; and his brother, Wayne. Barry will be truly missed by his family.
