1942 - 2016

William "Bill" H. LeBar, age 73, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Life Care Center in Casper, Wyoming. Bill was born on September 23, 1942 in Douglas, Wyoming to Carl and Bernice (Henry) LeBar. He graduated from Douglas High School where he played football, track and basketball. He was an avid reader, fisherman, sports fan; football and baseball being his favorite. After High School he enlisted in the United States Navy as a Communications Technician in Morocco and played football for the Navy. After returning to Douglas he married Maxine (York) Moore. To this union they had two children; Karin (Mark) Galloway and Kirk LeBar. Bill has four grandchildren; Jacob Galloway, Zachary Galloway, Sophia LeBar and Mason LeBar. He is survived by his sister Judy (Jerry) Treadway and their daughter Kristi.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Memorials in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
