Barb was born in Casper on May 22, 1945 to Myrlen and Ruth Huffman. She attended school in Midwest and later Casper College, where she earned her Associate's degree in Business. Barb was previously a member of Job's Daughters, the Order of the Eastern Star, Agility Club of Central Wyoming, and Garden Club of Casper.
She worked many jobs, the longest being the 18 1/2 years she spent at Casper Humane Society. Her hobbies included volunteering for the Humane Society and the Casper Senior Center, playing the piano and organ, and gardening.
Barb had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. She loved animals - big, small, furry or feathered - it did not matter.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Newcomer Casper Chapel with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Casper Humane Society or Casper Senior Center.
