CASPER - Services with Military Honors for resident Rhineholt (Rhiney) Wunder, 77, will be conducted at 1pm on June 8, 2018 in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.

He died on December 21, 2017 at the Wyoming Medical Center with his ex-wife and daughter at his bedside.

He was born in Worland Wyoming on June 8, 1940, the son of Henry and Anne Margaret (Wiedeman) Wunder.

After graduating High School in NewCastle Wyoming, he proudly served in the US Army as a Sharpshooter from 1963 to 1969 and received both a Good Conduct Medal and Army of Occupation Medal.

Rhiney enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time and was most known by the community for his smile during his many years of employment at Albertson’s.

He is survived by his two sons Mark Wunder of Utah and Bryan Wunder of California, and his daughter Carrie Laceby of Casper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sisters Betty and Caroline, and another sister Arlene Barthel of California, his four brothers Roy of Las Vegas, Richard of Denver, Robert of Thermopolis, and Alex of Casper.
