Michael Oscar “Mike” Moore, 61, flew to Heaven Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

He was born in Casper Wyoming February 11, 1957. He married Paulette Taylor February 18, 1993.

Mike spent most of his middle elementary through later high school years in California. He moved back to Casper his senior year, graduated early from Natrona County High School and joined the United States Air Force. Mike retired from the Casper Police Department, as a Lieutenant, September 28, 2008.

Mike loved to read, particularly World War ll history, camp and fish. He camp hosted in the Shoshone National Forest for several years and was looking forward to doing it again once Paulette retired.

Mike is survived by three children: Cindy Moore and granddaughter Danielle of Cheyenne, WY; Tyler Wilm and wife Barbara of Austin, TX; Ryan Wilm, wife Emilee and grandson Mason of Casper, WY. Mike also is survived by his sister Zoe Madson (Leonard), brothers Don Cobb and Butch Moore (Maxine) along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Shoshone National Forest in his name.

A Celebration of Life will take place at an as yet undecided date.
