Alan Clifford Powell was born in Olympia, Washington on July 1, 1948. He grew up in Casper and graduated from NCHS in 1968. The Army drafted Alan in 1969 and he was honorably discharged in 1971. He went to work for Well Services and Watson Truck. For 10 years, he worked for B/H Tong and Repair. He retired in 2016.
Alan had a passion for old cars.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Bill Poorman of Mills, Wyoming.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Powell and Elsie Seiback Hess; and his brother, Tim Powell.
Alan requested to be cremated and no funeral services to be held. Burial will be at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
Alan had a passion for old cars.
