Morgan Edward King passed away at his home at the age of 76, Monday, August 27, 2018.
He was born April 5, 1942, in Hayden, Colorado. At the age of 4, he moved with his family to Casper where he resided until his death. Morgan graduated from NCHS in 1960 and received an associate degree from Casper College.
Morgan and his brother, Doug, were business partners for 37 years at King’s Cyclery selling and servicing Schwinn bicycles.
After retirement in 2000, Morgan enjoyed gardening, gambling, his cabin, and car shows.
Morgan served in the Wyoming Air National Guard, was a member of the Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, and faithful parishioner.
Morgan is survived by his sister, Karen Endsley (Ken); his brother, Chauncey Douglas King (Ellen); four nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncey Clyde and Agnes King; his sister, Gayle. He was affectionately known as “Unk” by his family.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the recital of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
