In Memory Of
Robert Lee "Bob" "Popeye" Bielss
1943 - 2018

Robert Lee “Bob” “Popeye” Bielss, 75 born on September 15, 1943, died December 10, 2018.
Born in San Bernardino, CA to Otto and Annie Bielss. He married the love of his life, Sandy on
April 29, 1979. He worked most of his early life in carpentry and construction. He retired from
Westech after 25 years in 2002. He lived all over including Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and
Wyoming.
His is survived by his wife Sandy of 39 years, his children Theresa Johnson (Troy),
Bobby Skiles (Christy), Robert Bielss Jr. (Tanya), Mike Skiles (Darlene), Mike Bielss, Jerry
Bielss, Tina Everett (Bill), Darcy Skiles, Kenny Skiles (Kristal), siblings Wanda Turner and Mary
Adams (Gary), 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, Nascar, and especially bingo on Saturdays. Bob always said what was on his mind even if you didn’t want to hear it, he was a hard worker, and would give you the shirt off his back.
He liked to bet against the Broncos (Denver Donkeys) as long as you gave him 3 points no matter who
they played. Flamin Hot Cheetos and chocolate kisses were often shared by him and the
grand kids. We were all fortunate to have him in our lives and loving us all unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Clyde Bielss, brother in law Bob Turner, and son
Norman Skiles. He will be greatly missed by all.
