Joyce Arlene Morrison, age 93, of Casper, passed away February 11, 2019 at Wyoming Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born September 12, 1925 in Spokane, Washington to Herbert and Theo (Brown) Hinshaw. She spent the majority of her life in Alaska raising her children and working for the State of Alaska as an Unemployment Benefit Specialist for more than 25 years before retiring. Joyce had a great love for Alaska and loved her family very dearly and spent a lot of time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her three sisters, Joyce was also preceded in death by her sons, James and Richard Morrison, and daughter Laural Lee Morrison. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Morrison and son, George Morrison and his wife Terri Morrison, 4 grandchildren, George (Tyra) Morrison, R.J. Morrison, Nellie Morrison, and Rashel Morrison.
