Bill “Billy Joe Amoco” Miller, age 87, passed away March 8, 2019 at Meadow Wind Assisted Living. Bill was born June 14, 1931 in Sterling, Colorado to Wayne and Lillian (Molaskey) Miller. He is a graduate of Natrona County High School.

Bill served in the Wyoming National Guard for 12 years. He was employed at Amoco Oil Company for 37 years and retired as Foreman of Operations in 1986. Bill was awarded the American Petroleum Institute’s Meritorious Safety Award in 1979 for his quick actions saving the life of a fellow worker.

Bill loved taking cruises with his second wife, Norma. They traveled extensively and he enjoyed being a snowbird, living in California for the winter months, before permanently moving there in 2011.
