Marie Elizabeth Rieker, age 97 of Casper, passed away June 1, 2019 at Shepherd of the Valley Health Care Center. Marie was born in Faulkton, South Dakota. She spent her youth on a farm near Faulkton, South Dakota. Marie married Harold Rieker on November 9, 1943. They lived on a farm for a few years before moving to Wyoming.
Marie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, bingo, gardening and square dancing.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Dee Elliott and Mary Etta (Smith) Rieker, her brother and sisters, her husband of 74 years Harold Rieker, daughters. Joann Williams and Linda Walker, and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Susan) Rieker, and Larry (Jayne) Rieker, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
