In Memory Of
Vicki D. Tolman
1958 - 2019

Vicki Darlene Tolman’s soul passed peacefully from her body at the age of 60 in Casper Wyoming on the morning of June 28, 2019, while surrounded by her devoted family and caregivers.

Vicki was born November 9, 1958 in Eureka California to Kathleen Elizabeth Tompkins and Delbert Henry Tompkins and grew up in Hyattville, Wyoming, the oldest of 5 children.

She was born a natural caregiver, a soul that wore many hats. She would give the shirt off her back to any and all who asked, no matter the situation. Vicki became a wonderful cook and loved to share her knowledge and tricks she had learned over the many years of being a homemaker. For a few years, Vicki applied her love of food by working as the head cook at Senior Centers and helping care for the elders. She loved giving back and making others joyful through full stomachs and happy hearts. Another part she played was a rancher’s wife and made it clear that was her favorite character - not only was she caring towards people, but for all creatures did she have a place in her heart and home. The most important role Vicki had was not just being a big sister and a loving wife, but also being a loving mother to 4 children, grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Dan Tolman of Casper WY; son Jim Hill of Montrose CO, daughters Tina McMillen (Bruce) of Basin WY, Kristi Stevens of Basin WY and Carrie Frisbee of Eaton CO; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters Toni Wyman (Stan) of Gillette WY, Kassi Draper (Stephen) of Douglas WY, brothers Wes Tompkins of Shelley ID, Tracy Murr (Margarite) of Casper WY and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Services are being held at Medicine Lodge State Archeological site (The State Place) in Hyattville Wyoming on Monday July 8th at 11 am.

The family would like to thank the Kloefkorn Home for taking exceptional care of Vicki to make sure her last days were as comfortable and tranquil as possible.
