Sharon “Kay” Grammer, age 79, of Casper, passed away July 6, 2019 at Wyoming Medical Center. Kay was born November 15, 1939 in Moweaqua, Illinois to Roy and Esther (Burriss) Jones. When Kay was 26 years old, she committed herself to the Lord and enjoyed reading his word. Kay was very gifted in music, and dreamed of being a pianist. In 1979, Kay fulfilled her dream of living in the west by moving to Casper, Wyoming. She was employed with Mountain Bell for many years before retiring. Kay enjoyed making quilts, decorating cakes, reading and spending time with her family.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Teresa Heger, son, Roy Allen Grammer, and grandson, Robert Todd Grammer Mays. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Baca, son, Bob Grammer, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until the start of the service at 11:00 am at The Fort Ministry, 4741 West Yellowstone Highway in Mills, Wyoming. Burial will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at the church.
