Michael (Mike) Homann, age 53, of Casper, passed away January 30, 2020 at his home. Mike was born May 9, 1966 in Casper to Henry and Jean (Whitford) Homann. Mike was self-employed as a concrete contractor and worked alongside his wife for the last 27 years. He prided himself on providing the safest service, with the highest quality possible, for the contractors that he would later build long term friendships with.
Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding, camping and above all his family. Mike would go out of his way to help anyone in need and had a strong network of like-minded friends. Mike met his wife, Deidra in Casper 32 years ago and were married for over 30 years. They lived as spouses and as best friends. They fished competitively for 20+ years and enjoyed the friendships made there. Mike strove to teach his daughter, Nicole good values, supported her life decisions and was her confidante. Nicole hopes she can pass those values and life lessons on to his grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Henry Carl William Homann. He is survived by his wife, Deidra Homann, daughter, Nicole Kleemeyer, grandkids, Skyla and Carsyn Kleemeyer, mother, Jean Homann, sister, Sandra Hourt, nephews, Jacob and Jimmy and various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Ramada 300 W F St, Casper, WY 82601 followed by a gathering at 6785 West Zero Road.
