1946 - 2020

Linda Sue Oliver, age 73, of Casper, passed away March 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. After a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Linda was born May 2, 1946 in Waterford, Ohio to Frank and Lena (Kirkbride) Oliver. She was the youngest of 10 children. At the age of 12, she moved to Cody, Wyoming where she later met and married Raymond Gruer, November 23, 1962. With whom she had Bruce, Gloria, and Linda Rae. They divorced May 1971. In December 1971, she married Wayne Sabins and moved to Texas where she worked as the first Wyoming Seismograph Operator in 1971 for the Oil and Gas Industry. She was also a dump truck driver on a road construction crew and later became a flagger. Wayne and her divorced in 1980. She was also a bus driver in Big Spring, Texas for 1 year. She then moved back to Casper, Wyoming. She worked as a dog groomer for many years. She worked for Nowcap making sandwiches for a couple years. On October 22nd, she married Robert Schoenewald in a double wedding with her daughter Gloria. They divorced in April of 1993. She took care of beartrap meadow as a care taker for 2 summers and also planted trees for the BLM. She was last employed with the BNSF for more than 10 years. She loved to gamble and spend time with her family. She loved to read. She also loved planting and taking care of her flowers.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ray, Bill, Joseph, and Lawrence, and sisters, Lois, Betty, and Bernest. She is survived by her brother, Max Oliver, brother, Dale Roger Oliver, daughter, Linda (Dale) Riley, son, Bruce Gruer, daughter, Gloria Gruer, grandchildren, Gladys, Lora, Ollie, Raeva, Kaien, Dale Jr., James, and Miranda (Michael), and great-grandchildren, Draven, Amethyst, Nikole, Elliot, Riley, Damien, Meridan, Avalon, Orien, and Michael Joseph Jr., and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
