Dear Dan and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you during this sad, sad time. As you may remember, Diane and I became fast friends at UNI during our college years. Every year we exchanged Christmas Cards. I felt our closeness even though we settled states away from each other. As I read the entries on this website, it is clear to me that Diane never wavered. She continued with all the goodness in her heart for others. She had such a cute way about her to capture your heart. I am saddened that our reunion attempt earlier this year was postponed to April or May.
My heart is heavy as I continue to keep you in my prayers!

To the Guerttman family,
I knew Diane because our three children were the same ages and went to school together. What a classy woman she was. Always presenting herself to others with grace, strength and love. She was an example not only to her children but to each of us in so many ways. She was a fighter with much positivity. I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with each of you as you journey on without her physical presence. Cherish your great memories with her and know she is with you in spirit. God Bless you all
~ Patsy (Clark) O’Hearn - April 8, 2020
It has been such a long time since I worked for you in the Trust Department at Wyoming National but I did want to pass along my condolences to you and your family and let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Kerry Minchow (Overstreet)

So many great memories of Diane while growing up with Nate. Countless baseball, basketball and football games over the years. Diane was always a blessing at the games with her cheers from the bleachers and post game hugs. She definitely was a blessing to all that knew her. She will be missed by many.
Prayers from all of us Beavers to Dan, Nate, Matt & Katie

We are so sorry for your loss. Although we didn't know her well, our kids went to school together and they have good memories of your family. Diane was so kind and thoughtful. When she was doing a Safe Kids day at the downtown fire department, she would always place a coffee order at my coffee shop across the street for all of her helpers. I always looked forward to those days, as she was so up beat and cheerful and it was so nice of her to think of doing business at my shop.
Your family is in our prayers.

Dear Dan, Nate, Matt and Katie,
Please accept our condolences on Diane's passing. It was with sadness to learn that she was gone. Although we have not been in touch for some time now, we have many fond memories of Diane and her family during the soccer years. Much time spent cheering and laughing and driving to and from many places. A light has gone from this world but there is a new star shining down on all of us.
We are sending prayers your way.

Dan, Nate, Matt and Katie,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Diane. She was a 2nd mother to many of us kids growing up in the neighborhood. She had an infectious smile and her graciousness was unmatched. Thinking of you all in this difficult time.
~ Matt Overman - March 30, 2020
I was devastated when I came back to work and a fellow patient told me that Diane passed away to heaven this week. I was hoping to see her one more time. I remember the great times we had together during a get away for a foundation fundraiser which offered the winners food and lodging. Diane had a great laugh which was infectious as well as a smile that went with it. She was positive in the face of adversity. She beat cancer once but could not beat it the second time sadly. It was never for the lack of trying or the lack of courage. Her memory talks to many of us and will carried always. Her family was her greatest joy as mentioned in her obituary and will carry on her legacy. Thanks Diane. Thanks Guerttman family.

Dear Dan and family. We are so sorry for your loss. We think fondly of our fun times together at soccer games. Diane was one of the nicest people we know. There are not enough words to express our sorrow for you all.

"Hey, Toots!" I can hear her now!
Diane wasn't only "mom" to Nate, Matt, and Katie, but to many others, too. I was lucky enough to consider her a second-mom, coworker, and friend. I am going to miss her dearly. I loved how she loved her birthday as we shared that in common and enjoyed celebrating with each other over the years-not much got done in late September and early October! :) She was so special, and I am so grateful I got to be a part of her life. I cannot wait for one of Diane's hugs in heaven.
Loves and Hugs to Dan, Nate, Matt & Katie! xoxo

We were so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. Maggie and I want you to know how much we appreciated you and Diane having met in 1981 or 1982. I always thought somewhere down the line, you and Diane might be key players in our banking organization. The two of you were a real class act and we thought so highly of you both.
Maggie joins me in sending our sincerely condolences to you and your beautiful family. We know Diane left "big footprints" for someone to follow.
We send our love to you and your family at this most difficult time.

Diane was such a very, very special lady. I had the honor to get to know her clear back when our kids, Mike and Kristen MacDonald, were in elementary school together with Matt and Katie. Diane and I served on many committees for class projects and parties and she was always so much fun to work with. She always had a smile on her face and laughed so easily. As our kids went through school together and I would run into her somewhere, she always asked how our kids were doing. She was always a bright spot in this crazy world. She will truly be missed. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
~ Murray and Patti MacDonald - March 28, 2020
Diane brightened every room she entered. Her enthusiasm and optimism were infectious. Those attributes, along with countless others, lead to Diane effectively making a positive difference in various capacities and in many lives. I felt fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside Diane for a few years on the CINCH committee as we worked to address some of the health concerns in Natrona County. She will be missed.
Prayers to Dan as well as her family.

My very deepest sympathy on the death of Diane.
What a vibrant, energetic, bubbly person!
Diane graced Phyllis' and my wedding on August 9, 1964, at First Lutheran Church, Dows, by serving as one of the candlelighters. She brightened that day, too!
Blessings! Phil Borleske
