Glen E. Latimer, 96, passed away on June 19, 2020, in Casper, Wyoming.

Glen was born on October 28, 1923, in Hotchkiss, Colorado, to Orren E. and Bitha Ellen (Martin) Latimer. He was the youngest of six children.
Glen met the love of his life, Doris Edna Blackburn, in a peach orchid. They lived in Hotchkiss, Colorado; Naturita, Colorado; and Gunnison, Colorado prior to moving to Casper in 1962. Glen and Doris were married for 68 beautiful years until her passing in 2016. In Wyoming, Glen work in uranium milling operations in Shirley Basin for Getty Oil Company.

Glen served in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a Mason, an avid fisherman and hunter, a member of the tractor club, and a member of the Old Car Club. He and Doris spent many summers touring around the country on their motorcycle. Glen and Doris were also founding members of the Sunrise Baptist Church in Casper.

Glen is survived by two sons, Gary (Becky Jo) and Frank (Robin) all of Casper. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; son Robert and daughter-in-law Norma; two grandchildren, Russell and Dustin; two great grandchildren, Isabella and Ava; and his five siblings.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Garden Square Assisted Living for their wonderful care of Glen and Doris.

Glen would request that memorials be made to Sunrise Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Sunrise Baptist Church, 3990 South McKinley Street, Casper, with interment to follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sunrise Baptist Church.
