Billy R. Mosteller, 74, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 after battling a lengthy illness. He was born on March 5, 1946 in Casper, Wyoming to Charles and Dorothy Mosteller. He grew up in Casper and graduated from Natrona County High School. He met the love of his life, Linda Kuhn and 6 months later they married. Together they had three children, Matthew, Melanie and Stacey. Billy spent most of his working years as a welder, equipment operator and truck driver, spending 27 of those years with the City of Casper.

Billy loved the mountains, hunting and fishing. He truly enjoyed spending time with friends and family, being with a group at family dinner, absorbing the time visiting with friends. Stories transported Billy to being there, and living through those times that were shared with him. He will be remembered by his family as being a practical jokester, pulling a harmless prank on his kids was right up his alley, he loved messing with people and getting them to smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Linda; son, Matthew (Jodie) Mosteller of Casper; daughters, Melanie (Jerod) Roumell of Morenci, AZ and Stacey Mosteller of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, and Hunter Roumell; brothers, Charlie (Sandy) Mosteller, Pat (Debbie) Mosteller, and Kenny (Mary) Mosteller all of Casper; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Highland Cemetery.
