In Memory Of
Jake Alcala
1941 - 2021

Jake Alcala was born January 3, 1941 in Riverton Wyoming to the late Fernando Alcala (Father). And the late Adelina Vigil (Mother). He is survived by his daughters: Monica P. Hamilton, Tina M. Orona, Coreen Alejandro, Adeline G Schaeffer, Marcie L Moore, and Kristina J. Alcala. Son: Jake L. B. F. Alcala. Sisters: Pauline Stratton, Delores Madrigal, Jamie Alcala, Nola Johnson, Josephine Legarreta, and Marie Alcala. Brothers: Beneito Alcala, Fernando Alcala, and Nolan Knox. He is preceded in death by his Mother: Adelina Vigil. Father: Fernando Alcala. Brother: Lewis Alcala. Sisters: Mary Alcala, Mary L. Alcala, and Juliene Alcala. Grandson: Ruben Bahadori, and Jerry Orona.

Jake Served three year in the United States Army with Honorable discharge. He was decorated for Marksman and Sharpshooter. He had 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting with his brothers and fishing. He always loved to tell stories of his time boxing and his life in Superior, Wyoming. Most of his years he was hard working, providing for his family. Many years were spent working for the Natrona County International Airport where he took a lot of enjoyment watching planes fly in. We will never forget the pride he had for everything he had accomplished in his life. (Especially for his long hair and matching beard). With heavy hearts we mourn Jake. Beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather. But we must remember that he is still with us, not in body, but in spirit. He lives through us. He will be remembered. He will be honored. His memory will persevere in the hearts of us all.
