Margaret Aileen "Peggy" Deveraux
1932 - 2021

Margaret (Peggy) Aileen Deveraux, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her Casper, Wyoming home on Sunday, June 13, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Peggy is survived by the love of her life, Jim Deveraux her husband of 68 years; sons David Deveraux and wife Wendy of Albuquerque, NM; Steve Deveraux and wife Karen of Casper, WY; Mike Deveraux and Wife Tsenre of Albuquerque, NM; and twin daughters, Tina (Deveraux) Dillon and husband Clay, and Lisa (Deveraux) Goodwin and husband Mark, both of Rapid City, SD. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, David’s sons, Bobby and Kevin Deveraux; Steve’s son, Brian Deveraux; Tina’s children, Jeremy Evans, Timothy (TJ) Evans, Jessica (Evans) Jiron; Lisa’s daughters, Brooke (Goodwin) Schmitt, Christina Goodwin; and Mike’s daughters, Amber (Deveraux) Zoubovitch, Lauren (Deveraux) O’Neal. Peggy is survived by 18 great grandchildren; Avery, Mary, Abby, Eli, Ivy, Carter, Jayda, Taylor, Gavin, Camber, Tiegen, Ellie, Timothy Jr., Sevyn, Danielle, Kaitlyn, James, and Scarlett (who is due to be born in September). She is also survived by her special companion, her dog Blue.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and Great Grand daughter Olivia.

Peggy lived a long and busy life, she enjoyed gardening, singing, cooking, travelling, sewing, quilting, needlework, crocheting, and knitting. She loved to share her homemade wares with friends and family. She loved to travel and had many wonderful stories of their many journeys, as well as being a snowbird in Yuma, Arizona. She enjoyed sharing her extensive knowledge of local and regional history with loved ones, and kept detailed journals of her travels and daily experiences.

Peggy was a strong woman and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her sharp wit and beautiful smile will be missed by many.

No services are planned at this time, but a private memorial will be held at a later date. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy be made to the cancer care center where she received such loving care for over five years:
