Larry D. Bland
1948 - 2022

Larry D. Bland of Casper Wyoming passed away peacefully into the arms his Lord and Savior March 19, 2022. He had a major stroke in 2006 and was in therapy for many years.

Larry was born April 5, 1948, in Rangely, Colorado, to Beryl and Ralph Bland. He was the fourth child out of five that his family had. His family moved to Vernal, Utah where he graduated from high school.

Larry loved driving big trucks; he hauled timber, oil rigs and equipment, and everything needed to be hauled. He worked at Butane and Power Co. in Casper for many years.

He later bought his own truck and drove from the east coast to the west coast with his wife Rose Bland.

Larry worked many jobs. He was and always will be remembered as a hard worker. Truck driving and delving was his greatest passion in life.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Alden and Harold, and one sister, Linda.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rose Bland; also, one daughter, Daina Bates (Nolan), two stepsons, Greg and Jeff Richards, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
