Susan K. Cowan, 75, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Susan was born on July 5, 1947 in Casper, Wyoming to Russell and Audrey Launspach. Susan started her working career at the Yellowstone Motel as a housekeeper. She met the love of her life, Frank Cowan at the Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink in Mills after she "accidentally" spilled her coke on him. They married in 1964 at the First United Methodist Church in Casper, together they had two children, Annette and Russell.

The family relocated to Washington State in 1968 until they returned in 1998 to Casper, Wyoming. She retired from St. Francis Hospital as a Medical Ward Clerk due to a disability.

In her free time she enjoyed crafting, gardening, cake decorating, and spending time on the beach. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Susan is survived by her husband, Frank E. Cowan; brother, Dale L. Launspach of Palm Springs, CA, daughter, Annette (Jeff) Jensen; son, Russell (Carola) Cowan; grandsons, Duncan and Lukas Cowan; numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Susan's Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Newcomer Casper Chapel. A light reception will follow at the chapel.
